UPI DR Operation: Typhoon Odette, Philippines

The United Pilipino International supported the typhoon Odette Disaster Relief food distribution in the town of Basilisa in the Dinagat Island province, Philippines.  This operation was funded by UPI-donated monies.  The photos below were sent by UPI’s point of contact (POC) on the ground. The same person was in charge of organizing the volunteers and  tracking of logistics on behalf of UPI. The procurement, packaging, delivery, and distribution of the assorted food items were paid for with UPI’s donation. UPI donated over a thousand US dollars to the victims of typhoon Odette.
